Well the sun has been shining here in Chico, California!! FINALLY!! So Gary and I decided to take the old rusty bikes out and go for a bike ride!! We rode from our house almost to the airport. It was for a total of 10.12 miles round trip! This is the longest bike ride I've taken since i was a child! We figured it out and even if we were riding light we burned over 1300 calories! WOO HOO!!(hehee) Gary and I haven't even eaten 1300 calories today! So I'm excited about the weather getting nicer!
Gary and I are about to celebrate our one year anniversary together. We aren't sure what we are going to do yet. We are thinking about possibly renting a car then going to Fort Bragg then driving either up or down the coast. Ill keep you posted!! As always keep smiling............

Well things have been kind of busy around our house lately! School is really exciting! The GOOD stress it has been causing has been very welcomed! I am doing very well in both my health and Gender communication classes. I have taken two tests and gotten an A on the first and a B on the second and this is all without a book! I wont start my third class until march, its a college study skills class.
Samantha's fourteenth birthday is coming up at the end of this month which she is of course really excited about! Charlie will be starting t-ball here next month so that should keep us pretty busy! until next time.........

My birthday, and Christmas!
My birthday was yesterday! I am 34 and 1 day :) First let me tell you about Christmas! Gary and I had 13 of our family member's over for Christmas eve dinner! We served tri tip, twice baked potatoes, veggies and rolls. It was a GREAT time! Gary got me a pair of crocs. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! They are ergonomically correct and i would recommend them to everyone! For my birthday we just had a low key day. The best and most memorable part of my day was when Gary came into our bedroom with my favorite ice cream (Breyer's heath bar crunch) with a candle in it and sang me happy birthday! It was so sweet :) I will add pictures probably within the week. my laptop is in the shop but it should be shipped back by the end of the week.

Going at it strong!
Well i went to the doctor yesterday and I've lost 2lbs in the past 2 months (woo hoo). But i had him look at my weight a year ago and I've lost 28lbs since a year ago! Gary and I are going to hit the gym today which i am very happy about! My new goal is to be able to do 30 minutes on the elliptical by the end of November! I can do 15 now. I see the doctor again next week for an orthopedic evaluation. My knees and my left hip have been REALLY bothering me! My right knee i crushed in 95' and my left knee i broke at the tibia plateau. And my left hip has extra bone growth above it where they put the full length femur rod. I'm not sure what the outcome will be but I'm pretty positive that it will require surgery to fix any of my problems. Since I'm not a big fan of pain I'm not sure if i will just deal with the pain or have surgery. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.......i hope to have a new pic up by the end of the day.......til then keep smiling :)
